Why Asus Eee PC 1005 HA-P is the Best?

The Asus Eee PC 1005 HA-P is the best netbook available now. Why? Read more. I have had many mini-computers from the PC to the original Poquet Zeos Contenda, and more recently the Dell 700m. When I recently started to consider buying a netbook, I was impressed by the autonomy of the Asus Eee PC 1000HE. But as I have no good word-processing, keyboard and touchpad buttons are a real problem. When I heard about the Dell Mini 10v coming out, I ordered an upgrade from one to six cell battery and larger hard drive. To make a long story short, the trackpad button (in the trackpad, no less) a nightmare, and the battery on the bottom are in circulation, is an ugly compromise. Add the high operating temperature, which became worse than expected performance life of the battery and Dell.

Then, Amazon posted a note on the description 1000HE to come, a spare computer with a link to a page for the 1005HA-P. The 1008HA was not a consideration, because the non-replaceable battery, and significantly shorter battery life. I received the 1005HA-P, July 2. The form factor of the 1005HA like a clam-shell works quite well for me. Although the glossy black case is nice, collecting fingerprints, but quickly with a soft cloth worries. I like the feel hard and soft sleeve that comes with it. The way the screen opens (see below and behind the Netbook) allows a smaller footprint if the case is settled, although the extent to tilt the screen boundaries. The keyboard has a touch sensitive buttons and larger (as 1000HE or my Dell 700m), and the vast right-key transfer is a real plus. Word processing is smooth and fast. I especially like the button in the upper left corner, which disables the trackpad - very useful to avoid accidental cursor movement. The arrow keys smaller in the corner bottom right represents a reasonable compromise, and I treated), the trackpad with the points raised (as opposed to some other reviews.

The Wi-Fi area has been better on the Dell, but acceptable on the Asus. I definitely have not experienced the problems mentioned by other speakers about the Wi-Fi. I used it on many different routers without problems. It runs MS Office 2007 without incident. Surfing the Web is a breeze, but I have a "Blue Screen of Death" in dealing with a sophisticated website. I have no other serious problems in the months since I had lived.

Battery life? I would say it is not too far from the advertising 10 hours, depending on your settings. The Atom 280 processor seems faster than my Dell 700m or 10 V mini (but this is purely subjective), and I plan to put the memory to 2GB, fortunately very easy with the removable door small print at the bottom. The bottom of the computer to become a little hot after long usage, but nothing like the warmth of the Dell Mini. I have not experienced problems with the battery charger of other commentators mentioned, either. It charges quickly and turn off when you're done. I connected a portable DVD player, and programs loaded without problem.

Over all, this machine is everything I wanted in a netbook. The lightweight, battery, keypad, which is not removable battery protruding, a bright screen to disable the trackpad button and general user friendliness, it can hardly be beaten. I find it very satisfying to use. Yes, I have a flight in the last days, and he is grateful for the small size if the person in front of me leaning their seat back all the way throughout the flight. I would not go with a laptop larger. Under the machine, the security checks at the airport is much easier than the same laptop with a full size, or 700m.

For those looking for a netbook for general use and Internet surfing, I do not think you can find there are better there.

ASUS Eee PC 1008HA Seashell 10-Inch

Asus tends to create an endless stream of other netbooks is well documented and it is a blessing and a hindrance. On the one hand, she held her trademark booming Eee PC in the foreground, on the other it has fostered in us an extreme cynicism at the mere mention of a new Eee PC or netbook. It is a fact not helped by the material largely immutable, not later than the offer from Asus, improves 1008HA Eee PC, all the questions. Regarding the equipment, it is as general as the other.

This lack of hardware options and shares a netbook for the next is extremely difficult. Battery life is often the most important turning point, and this is an area that has been identified in the rhythm, Asus, as is their latest 10in laptop, the Eee PC 1000HE shown. However, you can not beat the drum for the extended life battery is required before a small change, and Asus has listened to his credit, gives us the hull inspired 1008HA.

We say "Shell inspired, but is coming marketing jargon for" a little curvy "is not it? Motorola has not reached the "pebble" or Acer "Gemstone" Then Asus might just as well use these terms instead. In fact, it's a bit pedantic for a moment, what exactly is shellfish like 1008HA, anyway? Enter "shell" in Google Image Search and it did not really something that looks remotely.

Shell or not, but it is clear that the Eee PC 1008HA Netbook looks good. The wedge-shaped cabinet measures only 25.7 mm at the rear and 18mm at the front, so that even netbooks thinnest and lightest on the market the look and feel positively obese. It is a fact, the surprisingly low 1.1 kg weight gain. It is easy to kg on the significance of this brilliant, but the difference between 1.1 kilograms from 1.3 to 1.4 for most netbooks 10in is striking that it's a netbook which is a little easier worn around the day day.

Beyond its end and no problem, there are many small details that make 1008HA set a very interesting piece. Undoubtedly, its glossy black finish will produce a few groans for all the usual reasons, but it looks like and when you get the impression that something a bit more colorful then sell Asus will be white, pink blue and red.

Then there are the ports, all carefully hidden behind doors. Although a slight disadvantage certainly contributes to the research machine clean and tidy, while Asus has resisted the urge too inside with many buttons, status LEDs, or junk, with only the button of feed on the right side, toggle buttons for radio and wireless on the touch pad on the left and a quartet of status lights perfectly integrated into the hinge section.
